What one reader had to say about Path of the Preacher ~ February 15, 2018 - Sister / I just have to say that Edwin and I are loving your book, The Path of the Preacher! As we venture together as husband and wife on the journey and path of leadership He has called us to, your writing provides so much spiritual relevance, insight, wisdom, and inspiration. Simple truths, yet so deep and profound. Like everything God does, it’s like the beautiful and intricate cuts and facets of a diamond. Just brilliant! We are getting so much out of it and it’s causing us to dig even deeper into Scripture together and have so many deep conversations and side-bars, as we hold ourselves and our circumstances up to the light of Scripture and what God is revealing as we study the calling and leadership of Moses. And the insight of your personal testimonies of your own circumstances and experience is so relevant. All we can say is wow, Wow, WOW!!! The timing on this for us at the place we are in on our leadership path right now is right on target - that’s God! He never ceases to amaze, as He uses each member of His body to sharpen and grow each other.
Oh wow - didn’t mean that to turn into such a long statement, but hey - kind of like a book review in itself! We have one more chapter to go, but you know girl, I’m going to go back and reread and reread and underline and highlight and take notes !!! The Path of the Preacher is both a relevant and a timeless work that to me is meant to be not only ingested, but one must take the time to digest its contents and really assesses themselves and their calling and leadership, as they savor the material and make it relevant to them as they go forth to serve in God’s kingdom - hallelujah!
Another review: February 16, 2018 - GM sister Jewel...... just wanted to take a few moments and tell you that, “The Path of the Preacher” drives me and Dawn into a deeper level in our faith! You take us back to the OT with Moses and then cover his struggles and strengths. As an upcoming minister, there was a lot of correlation there that was echoed in me. We have been reading it every day......... can’t put it down! Can’t wait to start the next one......... thanks for being transparent with your experiences and relating them in the book👍👍
